Mankind has historically fought to eradicate pandemics like rabies, chickenpox, smallpox, and yellow fever, to name a few.<br /><br />In the 1980s, Dr. Mirko Beljanski successfully tested the anti-viral efficacy of the extract Pao pereira - Amazonian plant used for centuries against fevers and malaria - on several viruses that can affect plants (tobacco mosaic virus), birds (avian encephalomyelitis) and cats (cat AIDS).<br /><br />In 1994, a clinical trial was performed in a hospital environment on HIV positive people.
