President Joe Biden has appointed Lady Gaga as co-chair of the revived Committee on the Arts and Humanities.<br />The committee took a five-year hiatus after being disbanded during Donald Trump’s presidency.<br />Biden signed an executive order to bring back the committee, which was originally created in 1982 under Ronald Reagan.<br />Gaga will co-chair the committee with producer Bruce Cohen, known for movies such as ‘American Beauty’ and ‘Silver Linings Playbook’. <br />The Grammy Award-winning pop star has always been a supporter of Biden’s presidency and even sang at his inauguration in 2021.
