Glasgow councillors have raised concerns after a book claiming homosexuality is a sin has been used in one of the city’s Catholic high schools.<br /><br />The issue was discussed at a recent meeting where Labour councillor Fiona Higgins said the content had upset some pupils.<br /><br />A council officer said that while they are working with headteachers to encourage use of appropriate materials, they admitted there were challenges.<br /><br />Next, the west end fast food restaurant BRGR was broken into by a masked robber, and a CCTV appeal has now been launched. <br /><br />The company shared the footage on social media, writing “we know our burgers are good guys but please wait until the shop is open until you try and get one.”<br /><br />And in other news, Glasgow Airport has announced their short-stay car park will go cashless by the end of April.<br /><br />The remaining pick-up and drop-off facilities are also to go cashless by 19 May in order to make the service smoother.
