A tornado has swept through Oklahoma killing at least two as it levelled communities across the state.<br /><br />Authorities have confirmed the deaths of at least two people after the twister made its way through rural areas of Oklahoma City, USA.<br /><br />Footage shows the tornado in the skies above Norman and Slaughterville.<br /><br />Additional footage of the damage in Cole, where the two confirmed deaths occurred.<br /><br />The National Weather Service warned locals on Wednesday (April 19) that the twister was behaving "erratically" and urged people to take shelter in the area.<br /><br />Tornado warnings have since been downgraded but more than 7,000,000 people in the surrounding states of Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Missouri are subject to a severe thunderstorm watch.<br /><br />Authorities said the tornado cut a path two miles wide and 10 miles long in the area and it is estimated that 20,000 residents have been left without power.
