'Dancing With the Stars' Judge , Len Goodman , Dead at 78.<br />CNN reports that English dance expert and<br />former 'Dancing With the Stars' judge <br />Len Goodman has died at the age of 78.<br />CNN reports that English dance expert and<br />former 'Dancing With the Stars' judge <br />Len Goodman has died at the age of 78.<br />According to Goodman's manager, <br />he died in Kent, southern England, on April 22 <br />following a battle with bone cancer.<br />Goodman was featured as a judge <br />on the popular dancing competition <br />from 2005 until 2022. .<br />Born in London in 1944, Goodman began dancing at <br />the age of 19 and was a professional dancer before <br />becoming a regular on televised dance competitions.<br />Goodman was the head judge on BBC's <br />'Strictly Come Dancing' from its inception <br />in 2004 until his final appearance in 2016.<br />Following the news of his death, <br />BBC director-general Tim Davie <br />wrote that Goodman was a, “wonderful, warm entertainer <br />who was adored by millions.”.<br />He appealed to all ages and felt <br />like a member of everyone’s <br />family.
