'Be a real man': Russian army launches recruitment drive<br /><br />Unwilling to announce a second mobilisation drive, Russia has instead launched the biggest PR campaign for the army since President Vladimir Putin sent troops to Ukraine last year. "Russia is proud of you!" read posters dotted around Moscow, while Russians of fighting age are surrounded by ads on the internet advertising how much volunteers can get paid. The authorities clearly want to avoid a new social shock, a new stress for society.
