The U.S Ambassador to this country says that through "the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative, the United States has invested over US$832 million in the Caribbean to reduce illicit firearms trafficking."<br /><br />Ambassador Candace Bond outlined details about the role the U.S. has been playing in the war on illegal guns and ammunition in the region, just over a week after Caricom Heads of Government called on the U.S. to do more in that war.<br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
