The French radio station "Le Poste Parisien" was in the air between March 30th, 1924 and June 1940. Its powerful signal could be heard throughout Europe and Northern Africa. Although very little is known about the station's studio jazz band, we are lucky to have a few excellent recordings, including this one, featuring an instrumental version of one of the popular tunes from "Footlight Parade". Record was made in 1934. Personnel included: Faustin Jeanjean, Auguste Isartel, Alex Renard (tp), Marcel Dumont, Guy Paquinet (tb), Henry Arnold (cl, ss, as, bs), Serge Glykson (as, bs, f), Roger Fisbach (as), Edmond Cohanier (ts, cl), Michel Warlop, Emilio Armengol (v), Lucien Moraweck (p, arr, ldr), Edmond Massé (g), Roger"Toto"Grasset (b), as well as ??? Mc Gregor (dm).
