Footage shows the moment a woman who was missing for five days in dense Australian bushland was rescued by police.<br /><br />The 48-year-old went on a holiday to the town of Bright, Victoria, last week and when she didn’t make her daily call to check in with loved ones on 30 April, they raised the alarm.<br /><br />After a week of searching, her car was located at the end of a dirt road in the bushland and a local police van was then directed by helicopter to her location, where she was found safe and well.<br /><br />“She was only planning a short-day trip so had only taken a couple of snacks and lollies with her but no water,” a press release from Victoria Police read.<br /><br />“The only liquid Lillian, who doesn’t drink, had with her was a bottle of wine she had bought as a gift for her mother so that got her through.”
