Rishi Sunak appeared to compare Ukraine’s President Zelensky to Winston Churchill as he welcomed him to his Chequers residence.<br /><br />“This room that we’re standing in, Winston Churchill made many of his famous speeches in World War Two from this room.<br /><br />In the same way today, your leadership, your country’s bravery and fortitude are an inspiration to us all”, Mr Sunak told Mr Zelesnky in front of reporters.<br /><br />Mr Zelensky’s latest visit to the UK was announced early on Monday morning (15 May), before Ukrainie’s president touched down in Hertfordshire shortly afterward.
