A 13-year-old boy has died in hospital four days after being struck by a car on Balmore Road. <br /><br />The teen was left in critical condition following the crash, and Police have confirmed he passed away in the Royal Hospital for Children on 14 May. <br /><br />Enquiries are ongoing and officers are keen to talk to the driver of a white van who was in the area at the time.<br /><br />Next up, a property developer has submitted plans to build almost 1,000 flats including student accommodation on the Glasgow site of one the of worst fires in UK history. <br /><br />Glasgow City Council has received an application for the redevelopment of an area near the Kingston Bridge at Anderston Quay.<br /><br />It was the scene of a whisky bond fire in 1960, where 19 people died and it was considered the largest peacetime loss of life ever suffered by Britain’s fire and rescue service. <br /><br />And finally, a dog stolen from a Glasgow garden last year has been found in Northern Ireland.<br /><br />The identity was confirmed by microchip and the dog has been reunited with her owners.
