Hundreds of soldiers have joined rescue workers in parts of Croatia after recent flooding.<br /><br />Heavy rain over the last few days has led to several rivers bursting their banks, leaving some homes, roads and other buildings flooded.<br /><br />Schools in the town of Obrovca were left underwater, while areas that escaped flooding were also left without electricity.<br /><br />Around 300 army troops have been deployed to help some of the worst-hit areas.<br /><br />Croatian prime minister Andrej Plenkovic said all necessary funding and aid will be provided by his government.
