Occurred on May 10, 2023 / Laval, Quebec, Canada<br /><br />: "I was driving my car on the highway and wanted to pass the car in front of me when all of a sudden my hood popped open and smashed my windshield. I will mention that the day before I double-checked that the hood was locked properly because sometimes I have to push on it several times before it stays locked. That day, it was locked properly.<br /><br />The video was recorded by my dash cam, which was ejected from its socket on my windshield due to the strength of the impact."
