A curious bear cub is caught on camera opening the door of a home - before being shooed away by a surprised homeowner. <br /><br />Footage shows the moment the cub alongside its family approach the Colorado, USA, home.<br /><br />Standing on its hind legs, the cub uses its paws to swing the door open.<br /><br />Homeowner Kari Bumgarner from Steamboat Springs, about 90 miles north of Aspen, is seen banging on the window.<br /><br />The cub flees but towards its siblings and mother nearby.<br /><br />A Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokesperson said: "Black bears are intelligent, curious, and relentless in their pursuit of food.<br /><br />“Keep all bear-accessible windows and doors closed and locked, including home, garage and vehicle doors.” <br /><br />If you see a bear near your home, the agency warns not to approach it, but to “yell, blow a whistle, clap your hands, and make other loud noises” to chase it away.<br /><br />The footage was captured on May 17.
