This is the moment a fire surround fell off a wall causing at least $15,000 worth of damage and a minor injury.<br /><br />In-home security camera footage caught the incident in which a family in their living room were shocked when their fire surround fell off the wall.<br /><br />The Loomis family from Owego, New York State, USA were sitting in their living room when the incident occurred, causing dad Phillip, 43, minor bruising and a neck injury.<br /><br />Wife Stacia, 37, was in the room with son Joshua, 18, as Phillip walked in and suffered the injury by chance.<br /><br />Stacia said: "It broke our wooden floor, along with the support beam underneath causing damage downstairs. <br /><br />"It also broke our new 65-inch 4k television, our custom couch and our fireplace. <br /><br />"Also damaged our living room table."<br /><br />Stacia added how much the damage cost:<br /><br />$7,000 for the fireplace <br /><br />$2,000 for the TV <br /><br />$4,500 for the floor <br /><br />$1,500 for the couch."<br /><br />The footage was captured on December 28, 2020.
