Days passed, and he began to lose hope. However, on May 22, a 19-year-old named Jeremy Sturdivant stepped up and took Hanyecz up on his offer.

Sturdivant delivered the two pizzas to Hanyecz in Florida, marking the first-ever recorded real-world transaction using cryptocurrency.
