Mayor Honey Lacuña said Monday the Manila City government will work with the national government to restore the fire-ravaged Manila Central Post Office (MCPO).<br /><br />Addressing concerns that the historic building might face further harm from future construction projects, Lacuña emphasized that the MCPO holds significant cultural value.<br /><br />She mentioned that the MCPO was officially recognized as an important cultural property in 2018, and its surrounding area has been designated as a "heritage zone."
