A new café for those living with dementia - and their loved ones - has opened in Didsbury.<br /><br />Hosted by Belong Morris Feinmann - the dementia specialist primarily caring for the Jewish community - the dementia café runs once a month and gives guests a chance to enjoy a range of experiences, form new friendships, and seek support.<br /><br />The programme includes arts and crafts workshops, pet therapy, specialist exercise classes and visits from musical performers.<br /><br />Belong Admiral Nurses are also on hand to provide a dedicated dementia service, helping dementia patients and their loved ones manage a future living with the disease.<br /><br />We went down to speak to people involved in the cafe and hear more about its benefit to the community.
