A Japanese media company, Abema TV, has spent a few days in Nottinghamshire as they film a Newark fighter who will be taking on one of their country's most famous warrior sons.<br /><br />Bailey Sugden will be battling Japanese legend Takeru Segawa — the only three weight World Grand Prix champion in K-1 history — in France on June 24.<br /><br />The bout will take place at the Zenith Arena in Paris in front of an audience of 8,000 fight fans and will also be broadcast live worldwide.<br /><br />The five-round contest at 61kg for the double Lightweight MTGP and ISKA World Titles is widely anticipated to be a battle of epic proportions.<br /><br />Report by Rob Currell from The Newark Advertiser.
