The Prime Minister says that in light of the recent ruling by the Privy Council, the Government is duty-bound to call the Local Government Election.<br /><br />But instead of calling the date for that election today, the Prime Minister told the Parliament that there must first be the passage of a bill "to validate all acts of the corporations from December 2022, up to the 18th of May 2023 and for the further three (3) month period from 18th May."<br /><br />Our Political Editor Juhel Browne has the details.
