He appeared annually at Met for the six years.<br /><br />But the tenor seems forgotten today. I've never met record collectors excited by his discs, and as a solo artist he recorded material that Caruso covered (I would rather listen to Caruso).<br /><br />Working for Victor, he took part in many ensemble productions, such as the Victor Light Opera Company recordings.
