Selfridges has launched a 'swap shop' in its Manchester, London and Birmingham stores this June and July. For the first time, customers can trade in their preloved clothing in exchange for something from a curation of second-hand pieces.

Between June 8 and 11, Manchester's Exchange Square Selfridges location will be running the swap shop and is the second store in Manchester to offer the service.

Hosted in partnership with LOANHOOD, a circular fashion community for rental and shopping, the swap shops aim to prolong the lifespan of clothing by championing creativity and style over buying new.

Each customer can bring up to five clothing items ranging from a resale value of £50-£300 each, and can exchange them for stamps to be used to select new preloved pieces from the shop.

This is part of Worn Again, Selfridge's season of experimental circular and second-hand shopping experiences offering another way to refresh and revive your wardrobe.

We went along on the pop-up's opening morning at Selfridges Exchange Square location.
