Flash floods and landslides wreaked havoc in Eastern Nepal. <br /><br />About 28 people have been missing and 5 have been confirmed dead in flooding and landslide incidents. Search operation for the missing people is underway. <br /><br />Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on June 18 expressed grief over reported incidents and directed authorities to revamp search and rescue operations.<br /><br /> As per the disaster management authority, an estimated 1.298 million individuals from 286,998 households will be affected.<br />
