This is the scary moment a tiny dog was rescued after it was spotted running a busy highway in Manhattan, New York. <br /><br />A video filmed by passenger in a nearby car shows the small brown dog running down the right-hand lane as vehicles slow down to avoid the pooch.<br /><br />At one point a man in a grey hoodie tries to run after the dog, but the pooch is too fast. <br /><br />The dog is eventually rescued by another driver wearing a black jacket.<br /><br />After failing to jump over a nearby barrier, the dog jumps gratefully into the arms of the man.
