This funny video shows a dog climbing the stairs by hopping up on all fours -- like a rabbit. <br /><br />Bo, an American pit bull terrier, knows no other way of climbing up the stairs than hopping up with all four legs at the same time in a bizarre, but charming move.<br /><br />Owner Sylvia Baber, 44, who adopted Bo in Autumn 2021, was amazed at the unique approach Bo took to climbing the stairs.<br /><br />Sylvia, a grant writer for PBS, said: "It was five days before I got him to even go outside.<br /><br />"When I finally got him to go outside we went for a walk and he did this on the way back. This was his big surprise."<br /><br />Bo, who is now nine, was taken in by Sylvia after his two previous owners died. <br /><br />Sylvia, from Lexington, Kentucky, USA, said: "I wanted to foster dogs during the pandemic, but I just fell in love with Bo."<br /><br />"He had serious behaviour and emotional issues but I think I was the only person who was a right fit for him.<br /><br />"He came to me after his owner died. His first and second owners had both died. He was in mourning.<br /><br />"For him that was what happened. He would stay with someone for a while and then they would disappear."<br /><br />When Sylvia first had Bo, he wouldn't move and was distraught by the death of his owner.<br /><br />She said: "He was just scared of everything. I had to put pee pads down all over the house."<br /><br />Now Bo is thriving. He loves to play, cuddles and go on walks.<br /><br />Bo's unique way of climbing the stairs first worried Sylvia, who thought that it may be due to joint issues. <br /><br />But after consulting a vet, it was confirmed that it was nothing of concern.<br /><br />She said: "I took him to lots of vets when I first got him but there's nothing wrong with him. This is just his Bo way of doing things."<br /><br />Bo's unusual move has charmed audiences on social media with one of Sylvia's videos reaching more than 700,000 likes.<br /><br />One comment said: "A rabbit or a dog?" <br /><br />Another said: "Had a rough day today and this completely cheered me up."
