A school is in lockdown following reports of a 'stabbing' - with claims a teacher has been attacked by a pupil.<br /><br />Armed officers are at Tewkesbury School on Ashchurch Road, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.<br /><br />The school is said to be in 'lockdown' following the incident, with parents and carers being urged not to attend the school or call the office.<br /><br />Local residents have reported sightings of helicopters, ambulances and police officers at the scene.<br /><br />There are claims a student has stabbed a teacher.<br /><br />A statement from Gloucestershire Police was posted on social media following the incident.<br /><br />They wrote: "Emergency services are at the scene of an incident at Tewkesbury School on Ashchurch Road.<br /><br />"The school is in lockdown while police are at the scene.
