This is the moment a cheeky chicken lunged towards its owner and pecked her in the eye.<br /><br />Jessica Davis, 40, was recording a video with her pet hen 'Stevie Nicks' when the over-excited fowl gave her a love peck. <br /><br />Stevie managed to catch her in the eyelid, causing Jessica, from Malibu, California, USA, shouting: "That was my f****** eyelid! Oh my god!"<br /><br />Jessica, the founder of an animal rescue organisation, said: "Stevie is the alpha of the pack and I believe does this out of pecking order or maybe love? Who knows.<br /><br />"That was the first time in that particular video, but now she does it all the time."<br /><br />Despite the pain, Jessica still loves Stevie Nicks the same.<br /><br />She added: "She got my eyelid pretty good. A little irritated, but thankfully missed my actual eyeball.<br /><br />"I still love her but she does this all the time now."<br /><br />The footage was captured on March 14.
