A woman had a lucky escape after the igniter on her gas oven malfunctioned and caused an explosion.<br /><br />Student Gillian was celebrating her friend's Gayle's birthday in their apartment in Malabon City, Philippines, when the blow back happened. <br /><br />CCTV footage shows the gas tank next to the oven explode as Gillian approaches the oven to cook a birthday meal for Gayle, shaking the room. <br /><br />Fortunately, Gillian escaped injury, but the flames singed all the hair off one leg.<br /><br />The footage was captured on March 20.
