Truth & Knowledge: Episode 23 – “What is Written in Your Heart”
In this episode, Trey Knowles emphasizes that the Bible must never be altered, compromised, or overshadowed by the Constitution. Whatever governs our lives should never stand in opposition to the Word of God. If it does, then we become enemies of God’s truth. Trey reminds listeners that our loyalty must be to God above all else—not to the Constitution, not even to the Republic.

James 4:4 warns: “You adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world means enmity with God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” This raises a question: Is your allegiance to God, or to the Republic?

The pledge of allegiance sounds noble—“one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”—but only if the nation truly lives under God’s Word. When laws embrace what is contrary to Scripture, the Republic itself becomes a stumbling block, aligning with wickedness rather than righteousness. How then can believers pledge allegiance to a nation that does not honor God?

David declared in Psalm 119:11, “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” Jesus also commanded in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commands.” And 1 John 2:4 warns that anyone who claims to know God but refuses to obey Him is a liar, not living in the truth.

So, does this make America a “false prophet” nation? That is left for each person to decide. Scripture is clear in 1 John 2:15: “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.”

The message is repeated: The Bible should never be altered or modified by the Constitution. Whatever governs you must align with God’s Word—or else you risk becoming an enemy of God.

What is written in your heart?
