Aarti was performed at Augharnath Temple in Meerut on Saturday. <br /><br />Devotees participated in the ‘Jalabhishek’ of Lord Shiva. A large number of people gathered to worship the deity. <br /><br />The month of Sawan is considered sacred by Hindu devotees and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. <br /><br />During this month, especially on Mondays, devotees, despite their ages and gender, go to the Shiva temple to worship the Lord.
