According to Sanjay Kundu, DGP of Himachal Pradesh, over 70, 000 people have been evacuated thus far, including 687 visitors from 29 countries. <br /><br />So far, 26 bodies have been discovered, with 18 retrieved from Kullu and 8 from Shrikhand Mahadev. A total of 22 persons are missing, and a search and rescue operation is ongoing. <br /><br />“Around 70,000 people have been evacuated so far from Kullu...We have evacuated 687 tourists from 29 countries...We have found 18 bodies in Kullu and 8 in Shrikhand Mahadev, total of 26 dead bodies have been recovered and 22 people ARE missing...The search & rescue operation for the missing is underway...No one is stranded,” said Sanjay Kundu.
