Triplets who were separated at birth reunited with each other at 11 years old and now live in the same city.<br /><br />Rikki Jump, 32, and her sisters, Julianne Scavo and Kendall Scavo, were born on June 7, 1991 but their mum, Kathleen, 67, couldn't afford to keep all three babies.<br /><br />Kathleen decided to keep Rikki - as Julianna and Kendall were head down, Kathleen took it as a sign they were meant to be together - and put Julianna and Kendall up for adoption as twins.<br /><br />Rikki grew up knowing she was a triplet - but her sisters had no idea she existed. <br /><br />They were adopted by Tina, 65 , Ken, who passed away, and lived 40 minutes away in Fort Collins, Colorado, US - while Rikki remained in Fort Lupton, Colorado, US, with her mum and dad, Lee, who passed away.<br /><br />At the age of eight, Rikki decided to reach out to her sisters and started writing letters.<br /><br />The trio wrote to each other for three years before meeting up for the first time aged 11 - where they went to the shopping mall and watched a movie.<br /><br />When Rikki was 13, she discovered she and her sisters were conceived through intrauterine insemination (IUI) - where sperm is injected directly into the womb - because Rikki's father had already had a vasectomy. <br /><br />When she was 26, Rikki started researching her family history and in December 2022, she tracked down their biological dad - who does not wish to be identified. <br /><br />Rikki and Jullianne met him for the first time in April 2023. <br /><br />Rikki, a head of sales, from Austin, Texas, US, said: "When my mum fell pregnant, this was the early 90s, so they didn't do as many ultrasounds as they do now.<br /><br />"When my mum was seven months pregnant, she was measured.<br /><br />"She was 28 weeks and measuring at 32 and that was when they performed an ultrasound and found out she was having triplets.<br /><br />"My mum and dad had only prepared for one baby.<br /><br />"With my mum being deaf and not being well off financially, my parents made the decision to put the other two up for adoption.<br /><br />"My parents always told me I was a triplet, but my sister didn't know about me.<br /><br />"We have a very strong bond and we established that in writing so when we met we felt like we had known each other forever.<br /><br />"It was more meaningful for our parents, my mum Kathleen had always suffered from a lot of guilt and shame about what she had done.<br /><br />"When she saw them with her parents she knew she had done the right thing."
