BBC correspondent Shaimaa Khalil suffered an amusing technical glitch that made her voice sound like a robot during a live report on Tuesday 18 July.<br /><br />Speaking from Melbourne, the journalist was explaining a decision from the Victoria state premier to terminate their Commonwealth Games contract.<br /><br />While the first few seconds of Khalil’s report sounded normal, her voice soon turned robotic due to the glitch.<br /><br />“Apologies for the technical problems there, this is a developing story, we’ll have more on that throughout the morning,” Mike Bushell said, as BBC Breakfast cut back to the studio.
