An amendment to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property Amendment and Validation Bill was made during the committee stage of the House of Representatives sitting on Wednesday night.<br /><br /><br />The mover of the bill says the amendment would ensure the Finance Minister would not have absolute discretion to amend the regulations.<br /><br />But the Opposition is questioning the validation of two legal notices contained in the bill.<br /><br /><br />Juhel Browne reports.
