Scores of fishermen across Cedros are today reeling from tens of thousands of dollars in losses, after being hit by an oil spill at sea.<br /><br />They began seeing large amounts of a thick, black, tar-like substance on Thursday afternoon, and by Friday morning, dozens of boats were hit.<br /><br />Our reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh was in Cedros on Friday where fishermen pleaded for compensation, by early afternoon they said Heritage officials were yet to visit or communicate with those impacted.
