#Mancity #Yokohama <br />Manchester City began their pre-season campaign with a 5-3 win over Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan on Sunday.<br />This was City's first game since they became European champions.<br />Pep Guardiola took a strong squad to Tokyo. Of the 13 players that had featured for City in last month's UEFA Champions League final, just two - Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan - were not involved against Yokohama.<br />Despite picking a team full of stars, City fell 2-0 down in the first 37 minutes courtesy of goals from Anderson Lopes and Ken Matsubara.<br />But City were level by half-time after John Stones and Julian Alvarez added their names to the scoresheet.<br />Erling Haaland was subbed on at the start of the second half and he went on to score twice.<br />City will return to the New Japan National Stadium on Wednesday for an exhibition match against Bayern Munich.
