The cost of living crisis is still affecting millions of people across the UK.<br /><br />Statistics from the Department for work and Pensions shows around 1 in 5 people in the UK were in relative low income (relative poverty) after housing costs in the year 2021 to 2022.<br /><br />As a result less households are spending money on non-essentials such as clothing and summer holidays, as disposable income is down and people are making more conscious financial decisions.<br /><br />We spoke to people in manchester to find out what they're going without during the cost of living crisis and whether they are still booking holidays.
