The Old Sawmill Cafe has turned one year old this year and the team celebrated with cake, champagne, decorations and reflections of the past year.<br /><br />While the cafe is just a year old, the building itself is listed and dates back to at least the 19th century when it was used as a sawmill following the Industrial Revolution.<br /><br />The physical renovation took more than a year to complete before it was open to the public in July 2022.<br /><br />The cafe is situated at the Ingleborough Cave and nature trail in Clapham which is thought to be one of the first villages to utilise hydroelectricity in the country. <br /><br />Managing director of Ingleborough Cave and Nature Trail, Andrew Jarman, gives us a tour of the cafe.<br /><br />CREDIT: Andrew Jarman
