Emmys to Be Postponed , Due to Hollywood Strikes.<br />The 75th Emmys were originally <br />supposed to take place Sept. 18.<br />But now, because of the strike by screenwriters <br />and actors in Hollywood, the awards show <br />will be pushed back, NBC News reports. .<br />A new date has yet to be determined, according to production officials.<br />The Writers Guild of America was first to <br />go on strike in May, citing pay amid the <br />era of streaming as a major grievance.<br />SAG-AFTRA joined the writers <br />and went on strike earlier this month.<br />They also had concerns about wages in addition to AI's role within their industry.<br />The last time that both the WGA and SAG-AFTRA went on strike at the same time was in 1960.<br />The last time the Emmys were moved was in 2001.<br />That instance was in response to the 9/11 attacks
