This is the moment Bob Geldof paid a special tribute to his friend Sinead O’Connor as he revealed some of the last texts the late singer sent him.<br /><br />Geldof said O’Connor, who died at her home in London on 26 July, was a “very good friend of mine”. He added: “We were talking up to a couple of weeks ago. Some of the texts were laden with despair and desperation and some were ecstatically happy, and she was like that.”<br /><br />The special tribute was paid at the Cavan Calling festival in Ireland with Geldof dedicating two songs to his friend.
