Pope Francis did some painting on Thursday, as he visited the local branch of his Scholas Occurrentes foundation in the seaside town of Cascais, near Lisbon.

In the video we see Pope Francis take a brush and add a personal flourish to the mural in front of a crowded room.

After painting his addition, he addresses the crowd. "It's a Sistine chapel painted by you. Scolas makes you move, respect, and listen to others who have something to say to you," said the Pope.

The Scholas Occurrentes Foundation was founded years ago to bring young people from different backgrounds and nationalities together.

The young people of the foundation had painted a three-meter-long mural and asked the Pope to add his blessings to the piece.
