The Nakajima Ki-43-IIb Hayabusa was a Japanese fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force in World War II. It was also known as the "Army Type 1 Fighter" or by its Allied reporting name "Oscar". It had a similar appearance and engine to the Mitsubishi A6M Zero, but it was more maneuverable and lighter.
