Cousin of Uvalde Shooter Arrested , for Threatening to ‘Do the Same Thing’.<br />18-year-old Salvador Ramos <br />killed 19 students, two teachers and his grandmother in Uvalde, TX, on May 24, 2022.<br />On Aug. 7, Ramos' 17-year-old cousin, <br />Nathan Cruz, was arrested for allegedly planning <br />to follow in his footsteps, ABC13 Houston reports. .<br />Cruz, who was already on probation, <br />reportedly told his sister while intoxicated that he was going to "do the same thing" as Ramos.<br />His sister also claims that he threatened <br />to shoot her in the head.<br />Cruz's sister told their mother, who says she also heard him talking to someone on the phone and trying to buy an AR-15.<br />The mother called the police <br />and told them what had been happening, <br />at which point they arrested Cruz.<br />Cruz has reportedly denied the allegations, but has been booked at the Bexar County Jail.<br />He is facing two terroristic charges for making threats against a school and his sister.<br />The family lives right "across the street from an elementary school," according to ABC13 Houston
