Homes have been severely burned by a wildfire which broke out between Saint Andre and Argeles-sur-Mer in the south of France on Monday, 14 August.<br /><br />The blaze has impacted 30 homes, eight seriously, as well as a business and a campsire, France Bleu Roussillon reported.<br /><br />It burned through 500 hectares of land and forced the evacuation of at least 2,000 people before it was brought under control on Tuesday.<br /><br />French environment minister Christophe Bechu said climate change exacerbated conditions of drought that fed the fire.
