The official results are not yet out, but Political Leader of the NTA, Gary Griffith is reporting that the NTA turned many so-called "safe" PNM electoral districts into marginals on Monday. Griffith says the NTA was able to secure a vast number of the traditional PNM votes along the East-West corridor, placing his party in a strong position ahead of national elections.
