Emma Heming (45) shared a moving video on her Instagram.

Her husband, Bruce Willis (68), is battling aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, the latter diagnosed earlier this year.

"My message is simple. When we don't take care of ourselves, we are not there for the people we love and want to be there for. I haven't perfected this either, but I try. It's an affirmation I use daily to keep it at the forefront of my mind. Your pictures, words of support, and love for me and my family were felt. Honestly, thank you, it helps. I ask that you keep looking for that beautiful thing or moment in your day. And I hope you can take me seriously in my silly hat."

Her smile and the natural way she speaks do not reflect how she feels inside. At the end of the video, she vents, "but I don't want it to be misinterpreted as saying I'm okay because I'm not, but I have to pretend I am for the sake of myself, my two daughters, and Bruce."

Bruce and Emma got married in 2009 in the paradise of Turks and Caicos Islands and shortly after in Beverly Hills. The wedding was attended by his ex-wife, Demi Moore (60), and Ashton Kutcher (45) – the couple divorced in 2011 – and their two daughters from the recent marriage, Mabel (11) and Evelyn (9). From the actor's first marriage with Demi, Rumer (35) was born - he became a grandfather from the Moonlight (1985-1989) star four months ago -, Tallulah (29), and Scout (32).

The Willis-Heming family lives in a $9.8 million mansion in Brentwood Park (Los Angeles) consisting of 7 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, a swimming pool, sauna, and all the luxuries one can imagine.

Photo and video: Instagram @emmahemingwillis.
