Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers says his government remains interested in a broad conversation about tax reform but doesn't plan to raise the GST. A plan released by the business council of Australia today advocates a range of reforms, including raising GST while lowering personal and corporate taxes. Mr Chalmers says his government and the BCA share many views - changing the GST rate isn't one of them.
