The opposition UNC is calling on the government to allocate enough resources towards the education sector, to ensure children, both local and migrants, are able to access schooling.<br /><br />Speaking at the UNC’s Weekly Sunday morning press conference MP Khadija Ameen highlighted key areas that lead to high student drop-out rates, and/or families’ inability to financially support their children’s education.<br /><br />Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh tells us more.
