An elephant smashed through the front of a bus causing passengers to flee to safety.<br /><br />The creature "strayed towards the national highway and wreaked havoc" according to locals in Parvathipuram Manyam, in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.<br /><br />It charged into the vehicle and "the scared passengers got off the bus and ran to save their lives" on September 4.<br /><br />The collision caused heavy traffic disruption on the Rayagada National Highway junction.
