ASIC takes Westpac to court for allegedly ignoring hardship applications

Australia’s corporate watchdog is suing Westpac, alleging it breached credit laws by failing to respond to hundreds of people applying for hardship arrangements – some of whom include flood victims and those experiencing domestic violence.
